Feeling very inspired, confused and intrigued by the Pick one project by Ben Nyberg.
Apparently random combinations of positive, negative and indifferent, words, names and places, are presented on the screen for the user to choose between. As you click and pick through combinations as mundane as Kanye West vs Ugg Boots, it’s almost impossible to see a relevance, yet you find yourself easily making decisions nonetheless.
The ultimate reveal is when looking at the Top and Bottom 10 lists. Patterns finally emerge and a consensus emerges. A very nice exercise in crowdsourcing.
